But I've never used mods with these games, nor played them "illegally" in any way.The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with this version of Windows. Some mods might replace the original files, and with that revert them back to the incorrect file format. Not sure if that's relevant, but putting it out there.

I checked some of the mod files and some of them contain the OU.bin and OU.csl, so maybe there's some "temporary copying or replacing" going on and at some point there was a bug?
I own the Gold Edition here from Steam and also have the very old Box with multiple CDs in my shelf, so no pirated version.Īll worked fine, then I played around with multiple mods (Ashun, Remastered, L'Hiver etc.), all selectable within the "Gothic Starter".Īnd when I wanted to check something in the original version, I had no dialogues anymore.
